What are qualities of good essays?

I think good essays consist of three parts which are itroduction, body and conclusion. In essays, you have to entertain readers. For academic essays, the readers are mainly professors. You also have to make a point and focus on one topic. If you put to much topics in one essay, readers can get confused.
